The golden Rules  !!      

    If you want to keep your computer free from trouble .These basic rules can help!

  1. DON'T keep mini tower systems at Floor level as this will cause harmful dust from the floor to be sucked in by the system fan and thus spraying system components with dust.
  2. DON'T  move system or knock system with Pc running
  3. DON'T unplug cables to keyboard , mouse , monitor , printer and serial port devices with system on.
  4. DON'T turn off system while system is shutting down automatically. ( Important especially on windows Operating system )
  5. DON'T keep pc's in un-ventilated cupboards.
  6. DON'T site Pc's to close to walls
  7. DON'T delete icon program shortcuts if you don't like a program. YOU MUST UNINSTALL software properly
  8. DON'T keep incompatible software on your system. Either uninstall it or upgrade!!
  9. DON'T install software which isn't compatible
  10. DON'T install software one after another without rebooting system between each install .    REBOOT !
  11. DON'T unplug USB devices without stopping them first!
  12. DON'T stop scan disk from running on restart after system crash
  13. DON'T mess with BIOS CMOS setting unless you know what you are doing.
  14. DON'T leave monitors on without screen saver for long periods as this can damage your screen.
  15. DON'T spill tea and coffee over keyboards and mice ,they don't like it !!
  16. DON'T use the internet unless you have anti-virus and firewall software.
  17. DON'T let others see passwords .KEEP THEM SECRET !!
  18. DON'T Leave floppy disk not write protected
  19. DON'T Write on floppy disks with ball point pen
  20. DON'T listen to salesmen when buying a shop pc do  your own research for the best product.
  21. DON'T buy a office pc without Microsoft office installed . It is very expensive to buy later.
  22. DON'T install out of date device drivers.
  23. DON'T let others mess with your system, unless you are sure they know what they are doing.
  24. DON'T waste money on upgrades that are not worth the money. (sometimes wait is the best policy)
  25. DON'T Risk losing data and hard work from virus's . If its important BACK UP THE  DATA !!
