- You must allow room for further
later upgrades if required
- Your case must be designed for all
types of motherboard
- You must have adequate number of
accessory bays
- Your case should ideally have the
options for additional cooling fans
- Must not be too small
- Does not have a unusual facia which
requires specially designed drives i.e. curve front ,Aluminium or odd
colour
- Must have Adequate power Supply
(minimum 300 watts)
- Must have a suitable power supply
unit i.e. for Pentium 4
- Must have room for at least 2 hard
drives without having to use up a floppy drive bay
- Must allow good air movement and
proper escape of heat
- Look for a easy case cover slot to
together design which allows each side to be taken off individually
giving better access to the working's of your pc.
- Look for all the controls you use
most often to be conveniently placed on the front facia i.e. USB
ports and audio and Mic connections.
- On ATX case's make sure you are
able to change the I/O plate if you want to be able to upgrade your
pc's motherboard later.
